I have a variation icon for the Joss quote; when he said it (on Whedonesque, in response to one poster getting upset about the implication that Spike and Angel had sex - I think the poster said something like "but they're both heroes now, and in my universe heroes don't bugger each other", to which Joss replied, "Well, in my universe", etc.), there were quite a lot made, and I snatched two.

Ah ha ha--the Nimoy grower is Sheldon Cooper, from The Big Bang Theory. It's a sitcom about a bunch of physicists, and Sheldon is the geekiest, nerdiest, and weirdest of them all. Select quotes include (these are from memory, so errors might have crept in):

Some context: Sheldon and his roommate Leonard's next door neighbor gets them both Christmas presents, and Sheldon freaks out because, according to social convention, this now means that he has to buy her a gift that's commensurate in economic value and appropriate for their level of friendship. He decides to buy a range of bath item gift sets, feign digestive distress while opening her gift to him, excuse himself to check its monetary value in private, then give her the gift set closest in price (returning the others for a full refund, of course.)
