As a woman fond of history, I can't let the occasion pass entirely: Last year's Ides of March post has, courtesy of YouTube, some depictions of That Event In Roman History and reflections on same. This year, I'm busy with suitcase packing; if you don't hear from me for the next ten days, starting tomorrow, it's because I'm off to Tanzania. (If there should be internet there, I still won't have much time, I imagine, as I'm not there on vacation.) So: pray collect links to interesting meta and fanfiction - pretty please?

My flight back (to Nuremberg, via Amsterdam) is on Thursday 26th, then it's a day or two more with the APs, but I could make it to Munich on Sunday. When would you leave our fair Bavarian capital? We could have lunch maybe?

That sounds excellent - or even Monday. I'm aiming for a Monday off work; I do have vacation time from last year (and would arrive Saturday around noon, leaving Monday night).

And yes, lunch sounds great, either Sunday or Monday. Monday is all-free so far, Sunday, you'd have to put up with my sis again & ;-)...who by the way is now an avid LOST fan and has mainlined the first few seasons. (After your passionate Plädoyer for one and against the other, she said, she let 24 be. *g*)

Nah. It's the rain season. Luckily, I was there twice before in autumn (which is when you should go, as a tourist) and thus won't feel bereft of the sights. But Africa is worth visiting under all circumstances.
