New episodes of Angel will be broadcast soon, after all, both in the US (note to self: practice wheedling and whining skills on bimo, cavendish and estepheia) and in the UK (dito for skills since kathyh has the power of recording season 5 on video, meaning I can watch it on the TV screen). Moreover, I heard that the UK release for Babylon 5's fourth season is March 29th, which probably means we'll get it in Germany by then, too.
But my present good mood is mostly due to the fact that
andrastewhite posted her first Babylon 5 story. It's Londo and G'Kar, during the The Gathering, the show's pilot. I haven't recovered yet from my silly smile, which is all the more absurd since the story is actually pretty grim. Like all of Andraste's work, it's fantastic character exploration, capturing all kind of undercurrents with must a few terse sentences. The story is here.
theatrical_muse has issued its weekly challenge, and the theme this time around is "Do you believe in love at first sight?" Naturally,
londo_mollari wouldn't shut up on the subject. BTW, so many of the players at
theatrical_muse are excellent - I particularily loved the reply of
diealittle for Buffy, which takes into account her development through seven years instead of going for the obvious.
Lastly, my season 7 of DS9 rewatching is fastly drawing to a finish. These last episodes flow into each other, with one unfortunate exception, like a rich, wonderful tapestry which unites various threads.
Here are more reviews.

Date: 2004-01-10 02:10 pm (UTC)Apparently the player needed some kind of update blah booting blah, but a friend brought the software and it's supposed to work now. I think.
Will try to find out ASAP.
If that doesn't work I'll just have to send you the epis on CD.
Thank you!
