Inspired by the befuddlement referred to in my last entry, I'd like to get your opinion on this, oh fellow fen reading this journal. I tried to put the options as unspoilery as possible, so you can vote even if you haven't seen the entire show yet.

Going on the episode I've already seen, I had to vote for Anthony "Kidney/window" Cooper, because that was some incredibly un-fatherly behaviour there.

However, without even having got that far in canon, I already want to inflict violence on Hurley's dad for making fun of him. How could anyone be mean to Hurley?!

Oh, believe me, it gets worse re: Anthony Cooper, and yes, that's possible. He's the clear winner on both my journals, though some of the others are cruel jerks as well.

Hurley's dad: in his defense, as opposed to certain other gentlemen, he repents and works on making it up to his son. I mostly listed him for completenes' sake.:) BTW, did you see that lovely, lovely Hurley vid from last year's Vividcon, "Another Country"?

I am boggling at the idea of him getting worse, but will be interested to see how he manages this. Poor Locke.

I was worried about spoilers, so I haven't. Is it safe to watch after seeing the first two seasons?

Watching the rest of Lost is pretty high on my television to-do list, but somehow this just keeps getting longer. (And the episodes of Ashes to Ashes keep piling up on my DVD recorder.)

Yep. There's a reason Cooper won even over two alcoholic abusers and some guys with creepy control issues.

I cannot make promises re: creative impulses, but from the vids I've seen already it does seem to be a visually fascinating show. Now that the American TV season is over until September, I may have time to watch it. (Although I also need to catch up on The Good Wife.)
