...since I have one more place to visit in Brazil, some magnificent waterfalls which shall form the end of my journey. However, since I did make it back from the piranhas, I can present more headlines for next week's travelogue:

- so four Spaniards, two Canadians, one South African and two Germans went into a boat and....

- Pretty in Pink: Dolphins on the Amazon (I kid you not)

- Fishing Piranhas: or, playing who eats whom!

In other news, I managed to find out PJ and crew won the lot - all eleven Oscars they were nominated for, no less. A very happy fan am I. And Sofia Coppola won for best original script, which pleases me as well.

Also, I take it the B7 DVDs are finally among us mortals? Clearly, someone intends to see my bank account wiped. Say, Bimo, how about a DVD B7 weekend in celebration?

Taking a deep breath before embarking on the final stage of my journey...

If that's Buffy season 7 then no, at least not in the UK. Angel S4 is out as of Monday, Buffy is the beginning of next month.

You know after all this build up these are going to have to be some fantastic stories, but I'm sure they will be.

Join the club! Add AtS season 4 in there and it's a seriously expensive month for those of us who suffer from DVD addiction.

Can't wait to hear about the dolphins, though not so keen on the piranhas.

...and they were. Am currently in the airport of Sao Paolo with an hour or two to kill before embarking on my flight to Germany.

Indeed, and guess who got suckered into buying them...

I've only seen one episode so far, but I'm definitely interested. My brothers ran away screaming, though, and even my mother (who was actually a huge fan back when it first aired) said it was rubbish!

it's fantastic

Okay, so the not so special effects are just funny, but it only took me two or three episodes before ignoring this in favour of the sharp dialogue, good characters and genuine dystopia I was presented with. The first season is actually the most optimistic and cheerful, which should tell you something about where this show is going.

It was a big influence on JMS, btw - guess where the Anna Sheridan gambit comes from - and Joss Whedon watched it in his youth, too.
