Oh, Amy

In preparation for the second half of the sixth season, we got a prequel scene (spoilery for the first half), which, weirdly enough, made me feel for Amy in a way the entire first half of the season did not. (I do hope the second one has more active Amy, and Amy character scenes. I mean, I love River and Rory, and would not want to miss them for the world, but Amy just was sort of there during the first half of s6, and not because of the spoilery twist; as the current companion, she should have more to do and be a bigger influence on how the story proceeds. And I want to see some more reaction to all the spoilery twisty stuff that happened in s6 so far. Well, if this scene is an indication, we will get Amy character material. I hope not only about the issue she talks about here, but the issue is a big one, so that's a good place to start.

So true. I like that Rory is doing a bit more this season, but damnit, I LOVE AMY. And I really want a Mom character who is active and awesome. I really, really want that.
