rewatching some Sarah Connor Chronicle episodes...

Also, the news last month that they want to reboot the Terminator franchise with Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor makes me tear my hair out at the cancellation of T: SCC all over again. No offense to Ms. Clarke who seems to be a lovely young woman, but I don't want rebooted Terminator movies. I want more sublime Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Obligatory moment of silence for TSCC. I will never understand how that show came to be, how it got spun out of the Terminator franchise, how it survived, how it was just so amazingly good...

OMG! YES! SO GOOD.

That show was just amazing; JESSE! DEREK! SARAH! CAMERON! JOHN! Just EVERYONE! And like you, the thought of the movie reboot makes me want to throw things because they could have given me one more season of that show. I wanted to see John in the future, and Sarah in the past, living their lives separately, and just, the show was amazing and I wanted more of it.

On the upside, there are two Sarah Connor on GoT now. I wish I actually liked the show.

There is a certain amusement factor in the two Sarah Connors, true. Also, over at lj someone told me the new movies and the ensuing tie-in TV series that's coming shortly after are being written by Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller, who were series writers and producers on Sarah Connor Chronicles. They wrote "Dungeons & Dragons," "Goodbye to All That," "Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point," "The Good Wound," and both parts of "Today is the Day". So there is that.

But still: I want my one true show!

I just started watching Sarah Conner for the first time. From all the great reviews I've heard, I'm very much looking forward to it.

This is exactly how I feel about the reboot. I want to be at least optimistic, because if it's Sarah-centric (and I don't know that it is, and I probably doubt that it is), I don't want it to be awful and fall flat. But mostly I just want another season of TSCC, and will be forever bitter at all attempts to do anything in the Terminator-verse that isn't another season of TSCC. *rends garments*

Oh huh, I didn't know that there was going to be an ensuing tie-in TV series. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DIDN'T YOU JUST MAKE MORE OF THE FIRST ONE. Sigh. Still, I'm at least interested now. BUT STILL BITTER. And still kind of pessimistic that this one will get to do what TSCC got to do with non-Connor characters and robots. :/

Sarah Connor Chronicles! OMG. That was one of the last shows I watched before I discovered the amazingness of subtitles (where I could actually understand what was going on!) and I loved it anyway even through the garbled dialogue and my deafness. And I really, really ought to get a hold of it now, shouldn't I? Because SARAH. And everyone. But mostly SARAH CONNORRR. <333
