liz_marcs' epic Dead Like Me/BtVS crossover a couple of weeks ago, I was in the mood for more Dead Like Me fanfic. So I checked out the usual suspects and found out what fanfic exists seems to be, at least at first glance, dominated by... George/Mason fanfic. Now I haven't watched the movie, granted, and maybe everything changes, but based on the two seasons I was, shall we say, a tad surprised. Which might be a case like me watching The West Wing and wondering in bafflement where all the CJ/Toby fanfic comes from. (Until skywaterblue educated me, and now I can at least see the signs for "used to have a thing ages ago" with CJ and Toby, though I still can't see any signs for them wanting more of same in the present.)
So, in case I'm overlooking something glaringly obvious, please, oh flist, tell me: does the George/Mason come anywhere aside from him being the younger and more physically attractive of the two male regulars? What with him being into Daisy and her treating him like a screwed-up brother she feels sort of responsible for, I mean.
Also, if someone has good Dead Like Me fanfic to recommend, I'd be grateful.
