Fanfiction and a vid
Jan. 5th, 2008 08:25 pmI have reason to be nostalgic for the Jossverse today, so my fanfic recs reflect this.

likeadeuce told me about, is a wonderful take on Connor and Angel post- Not Fade Away. (No spoilers for the comics, show canon only.) This is Connor with his different memories in his head, and the awkward, intense relationship with Angel, slowly working towards something normal.
The Absence of... is set post-You're Welcome and after a great prelude which gives us the reactions of Wesley & Co. to the news about Cordelia presents Cordy and Darla in the afterlife. One of the earliest AtS stories I wrote was a Cordelia and Darla (temporary, and enforced, of course!) team-up, which left me with a hankering of seeing more. This one is delicious, snarky, and written with great affection for both characters.
Lastly, a Heroes vid rec:
Devotion bylcsbanana is that rarity, a vid centring on the relationship between Nathan and Peter which takes their relationships with the other people in their lives into account - Angela, Heidi, Claire, Simon and Monty, Simone, even Claude and Hiro. It instantly advanced to my favourite Petrelli vid. Go and watch!
