If My LJ Were it's Own Fandom...

a. Who would people ship me with?

b. Who would be my arch-nemesis?

c. What would a Mary Sue in my fandom be like?

d. When or how did I/will I jump the shark?

e. Write a one sentence summary of the story that would win the Best Fanfic Award in my fandom.

f. What would a typical badfic involve?

g. Who would be the BNFs in my fandom?

h. Why would my fandom end up on fandom_wank?

a. Joss! The two of you would throw the wittiest dinner parties.
b. misunderstood woobies or, more precisely, alleged woobies and their defenders.
c. Neil Gaiman just LOVED her irreverent take on the underexplored relationship between the narrative innovations of Truman Capote, the early seasons of Star Trek, and Goethe's leters to Schiller. Neil wants to turn it into a graphic novel, on which Joss Whedon will be happy to to collaborate -- though only because Orson Welles, who should have been the one to film it, isn't around anymore.
d. That Anakin Skywalker/Charley Kane crossover fic we all know is lurking on the hard drive.
e. In this 7-way crossover, Machiavellian parental figure and messed-up boy come to a delicate and unspoken understanding. After much mind-messing and banter, of course.
f. The sad truth is that not EVERYBODY can make Londo/Harmony work.
g. Joss, Neil, and the ghost of Orson Welles, of course.
h. The W00bies and the Cruella de Sues don't understand why they aren't, to quote Joss, getting the juice.

Hey, Charley Kane got around before he settled down to marry Emily and have a affairs with "singers". I see no reason why a quick trip to a galaxy far, far away shouldn't have been involved.*g*

Londo/Harmony: does that mean you're volunteering? *veg*

This meme is surprisingly difficult.

a) The fandom OTP would be the buddy-pairing [livejournal.com profile] selenak/[livejournal.com profile] andrastewhite, but there would be a sizeable group of people who preferred the enemy-slash [livejournal.com profile] selenak/[livejournal.com profile] artaxastra, with a subgroup shipping you with [livejournal.com profile] penknife *g*.
b) [livejournal.com profile] artaxastra and her evil sidekick [livejournal.com profile] penknife. You have ongoing battles about interfering with historical events (your source clearly involves timetravel somehow).
c) Orson Welles *g*
d) Most fans agree that the scene in season 6 where [livejournal.com profile] artaxastra breaks down in tears and admits that it was all the fault of the evil telepathic space whales is the point where it really starts to go downhill *g*
e) It's a plotty adventure that deals with how you and [livejournal.com profile] andrastewhite first met, back when [livejournal.com profile] artaxastra wasn't evil and was working for [livejournal.com profile] hobsonphile; you all teamed up to fight to preserve the timeline from a timequake caused by an unknown entity from Beyond The Dawn of Time.
f) [livejournal.com profile] artaxastra seeing the error of her ways, turning herself into the Time Police and sitting around in jail cutting herself and weeping. Meanwhile, your sidekick [livejournal.com profile] andrastewhite would finally confess her love, and you would either be so mean to her that she went away to commit suicide, or else confess your love too, and be married in a beautiful ceremony with [livejournal.com profile] penknife as the ring-bearer.
g) Me! I would run the main archive and fan site. And [livejournal.com profile] londonkds, who would be the best-known fic writer, renowned also for his meta.
h) A new writer in your fandom posted a totally ridiculous fic during late season 5, where it turns out that evil telepathic space whales were responsible for all the damage. Everyone mocked it unmercifully (and her resultant hissyfit ended up on f_w at the time). However, after a very similar storyline was used in an episode, there is a giant wank over it, with the writer claiming that the show plagiarised her fic, some people telling her to sue while others blame her for the dreadful episode, and others accusing the writer of being in the employ of the show itself, and trying to kill off the fandom with the scandal.

Seconded!

I can't decide I like the buddy pairing or enemy slash better myself. Though Orson Welles insists he's not a Mary Sue but an Original Character Who Can Do It All And Gets Everyone To Pay Attention To Him.

Thanks for volunteering yourself and [livejournal.com profile] londonkds for the fansite and the meta - I knew I could count on you!

Of course Orson doesn't think he's a Mary Sue. Mary Sues never do *g*.

And you can play with both pairings if you want *g*. That'll keep the ratings high, lots of drama...
