Easter Wells

Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it. We followed family tradition and visited our Franconian Easter Wells again, which are extremely pretty, despite the fact the winter came back with a vengeance and so there is snow on the painted eggs. But have a look, even if you don't care for the holiday at all, I promise prettiness!










Every village here in Upper Franconia really comes up with its own variation, and attention to detail pays off:

No, they aren't. Remember, those bunnies are outside, where everyone can touch them - I doubt chocolate bunnies would have survived long!
